Agreement period

Collection 1: 1.4.2023– (for now) / Collection 2: 10.2.2023– (for now)

Description

Ä¢¹½Ö±²¥ has access to two different collections. Collection 1 contains access to the following electronic Finnish (fi), translated (fi/en) and English (en) standards:

  • SFS 96.010 IT:n johtaminen
  • SFS 96.020 IT:n hallinta ja ohjaus
  • SFS 96.030 Tietoturvallisuus ja tietosuoja

The following standards are also included in the Collection 1:

  • SFS-ISO 21500 Projektin-, ohjelman- ja salkunhallinta. Toimintaympäristö ja käsitteet
  • SFS-EN ISO/IEC 19790:2020:en Information technology. Security techniques. Security requirements for cryptographic modules (ISO/IEC 19790:2012, including corrected version 2015-12)
  • ISO/IEC 24759:2017 & 2025 Information technology — Security techniques — Test requirements for cryptographic modules
  • ISO 15704:2019 Enterprise modelling and architecture — Requirements for enterprise-referencing architectures and methodologies
  • SFS EN ISO/IEC 17024 en Conformity assessment. General requirements for bodies operating certification of persons

Collection 2 contains access to the following individual standards:

  • ISO 12913-1:2014 Acoustics — Soundscape — Part 1: Definition and conceptual framework
  • ISO/TS 12913-2:2018 Acoustics — Soundscape — Part 2: Data collection and reporting requirements
  • ISO/TS 12913-3:2019 Acoustics — Soundscape — Part 3: Data analysis
  • SFS ISO 9186-1:2014 Graphical symbols — Test methods — Part 1: Method for testing comprehensibility
  • SFS ISO 9186-2:2008 Graphical symbols — Test methods — Part 2: Method for testing perceptual quality

Authorized users

The licensed material may be used by authorized users: students and members of staff and faculty. Access through Haka authentication and/or remote access authorization via university log-in.

Permitted use

Academic staff and employees of the university may

  • browse and search standards, print them, save copies and give single standards to other academic staff and employees for the purposes of training, planning or other production work in the organization
  • take a reasonable number of photocopies of a part of an individual printed standard
  • distribute extracts from individual standards to students
  • distribute single copies of individual items of the licensed material in incidental and non-systematic manner in print or electronic form to colleagues whether authorized users or not, for the purposes of scientific research and communication
  • publicly display or publicly perform parts of the licensed material as part of a presentation at a seminar, conference, or workshop, or other such similar activity

University teaching staff can also

  • incorporate portions of the licensed material in printed or electronic course packs

 All copies of the standards and/or any other material shall contain the same copyright, trademark and other entries as the original copies of the standard.

Students can

  • browse, search and retrieve the licensed material
  • students and members of faculty and staff are allowed remote access to the licensed material through Haka authentication and/or authentication via university log/in credentials
  • print or electronically save parts of of SFS standards

 Students are not allowed to print or electronically save parts of ISO or IEC standards.

Prohibited use

  • Standards or their copies must not, in any form, be shared or transmitted outside the Ä¢¹½Ö±²¥ unless otherwise stated in the agreement between JYU and SFS.
  • Making copies of the standards for private or other personal purposes is prohibited.
  • Copies of standards may not be provided as an appendix to a call for tenders, an offer or possible marketing material etc.
  • Services related to standards or based on standards may not be provided to third parties without a written consent of SFS.
  • Commercial use of the licensed material is prohibited.

When you first open a publication from the Online service, please install the . More information on . You can use any browser, but PDF files must be opened with . We recommend version X (10) or newer. If an error message comes up when opening a standard, please try to open the PDF to Adobe Reader from the Downloads-folder in your device.

You are allowed to quote a relevant SFS standard in your thesis. Please ensure to duly reference the source.

Please note that DRM protected PDF files do not work on all mobile devices.
