Building on the REIMAGINED Project's work on social and emotional education through arts-integrated practices, the workshop drew inspiration from “The World at Play: Sustainable Futures in Children's Artworks" exhibition. This exhibition combined South African and Finnish educational approaches, providing an innovative learning environment for 6th graders in Central Finland to enhance cultural awareness and global citizenship.

Workshop participants, including representatives from universities ranging from Alaska to Japan, engaged in interactive activities and discussions. They explored the integration of South African and Finnish schoolchildren's artistic expressions and participated in hands-on and AI-based activities. These activities provided insights into enhancing quality education, building resilience in teacher education, and promoting planetary well-being and responsibility.

The workshop emphasized active engagement, encouraging participants to reflect on the exhibition's themes and consider how to adapt these ideas to their own educational contexts. The outcomes included innovative strategies for educators to integrate art, mathematics, and sustainability, balancing global educational standards with local needs.

REIMAGINED is an Erasmus+ funded project, which aims at developing a practical educational paradigm, correlating Socio-Emotional Education (SEE) with arts education through a cross and extracurricular approach.
