The Student Compass mental wellbeing workshop during Spring 2024

The Student Compass (Opiskelijan Kompassi, ‘OK’ in Finnish) is part of Student Life's student wellbeing support services. OK is a web-based mental wellbeing and life-skills program offering practical tools that have been scientifically proven to enhance psychological and emotional wellbeing, life satisfaction while alleviating heightened stress and anxiety, which are common problems amongst international students.  

The Student Compass online program is available 24/7 and its use is free of charge for all Ä¢¹½Ö±²¥ students. Students can use the program as self-help or with low-threshold support from well-being coaches.

JYU OK? -workshop on mental wellbeing

Do you feel the weight of stress and anxiety while navigating life as an international student? Are you feeling lonely and isolated? Want to share your experiences with others?  Join our Student Compass workshop on mental wellbeing and discover mental wellbeing resources to thrive as an international student!

What kind of workshop and for whom? (6-8 participants)

The Student Compass web-based program offers a free wellbeing workshop to Ä¢¹½Ö±²¥â€™s International Master’s degree students. If there is space, we may also take in international exchange students.

The workshop includes five group meetings with two wellbeing coaches and working independently online in the Student Compass wellbeing program.

In the workshop, you will have a great opportunity to learn and practice mental wellbeing skills that are important in studying, working, interpersonal relationships and life in general. This is a great way to improve your mental wellbeing while meeting other international students!

You can participate by registering 26.2.2024 at the latest .
