The Student Compass mental wellbeing workshop during Spring 2023
(Opiskelijan Kompassi, ‘OK’ in Finnish) is part of Student Life's wellbeing support. OK is a web-based wellbeing and life-skills program offering practical tools for enhancing psychological and emotional wellbeing, addressing motivation challenges, adjustment, stress-related issues, and promoting overall well-being. The Student Compass is a program that is based on the principles of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, an evidence-based approach that utilizes value-, acceptance- and mindfulness processes to enhance flexibility and resilience in coping with life challenges.
The program is available with coach guidance and is free of charge to all students of the Ä¢¹½Ö±²¥.

What? The Student Compass offers a free wellbeing workshop to International Master’s degree, exchange and Finnish degree students. In the workshop, you will have a great opportunity to learn and prac¬tice mental wellbeing skills that are im¬por¬tant in study¬ing, work-ing, in¬ter¬per¬son¬al relationships and life in gen¬er¬al. The workshop includes five group meetings with two wellbeing coaches and working independently online in the Student Compass wellbeing program.
This is a great way to improve your mental wellbeing, meet local and international people as well as practice your English skills in a safe environment!
When and where? 5 sessions every Wednesday at 16.15-18.00 on 15.3. 22.3, 29.4.,5.3.,12.4.2023. Sessions will be held at Jyväskylä’s University Library Lähde.
