Take part in a study on oxygen consumption and lower limb movement during walking
We are recruiting participants for a study on oxygen consumption and lower limb movement during walking. The study involves a single visit to the Ä¢¹½Ö±²¥ sports science laboratory during spring 2025.Â

To participate in this study, you must:
- Be 18-40 years old.
- Have had no musculoskeletal injuries in the past 12 months, no knee joint replacement, not use a lower limb prosthetic and not undergone a surgery in the past 2 years.
- Have no diagnosed cardiovascular disease.
- Be able to walk 2 km unassisted and pain free.
The study involves a single visit to the Ä¢¹½Ö±²¥ sports science laboratory (Rautpohjankatu 8) during spring 2025.
During the visit your oxygen consumption will be measured at rest and during a walking test that lasts approximately 15 minutes. Additionally, the movement of your lower limbs will be collected using opto-electronic markers as well as video cameras. Any identifying information will be erased in the final publication
