The programme items and activities offered to the general audience are scheduled mainly for the evening, as usual. In addition, the Researchers’ Night event includes plenty of workshops for school groups before noon. Schoolchildren can familiarise themselves with the world of science by practically testing what can be achieved through science!

The schoolchildren have a chance to marvel at the life of freshwater pearl mussels, and, for example, the strange organisms found in Lake Jyväsjärvi. In addition, the programme items intended for school groups include a generative AI and video workshop, as well as the ever-popular CSI – crime scene investigation! Diverse workshops and programme items provide schoolchildren with comprehensive experience of the world of science and may even help shed light on a potential goal for their further studies.

School group programmes require advance registration. Teachers: we recommend securing a spot for your group well in advance, as places have filled up quickly in previous years.
