Parking on campus will become chargeable starting 11.3.2024 - Please deploy the eParking application

Ä¢¹½Ö±²¥ will introduce eParking on 11 March 2024, and the parking permits will be purchased from the eParking system. You can see the available parking spaces on campus in the map view of the app.

Parking areas will be clearly marked to indicate the user group for which the parking spaces are intended. Signs in the areas will be renewed starting from 19 February, but the parking application will not be required until 11 March 2024.

In order to park easily at the campus starting from 11.3.2024, please deploy the eParking application well in advance. You must log in to eParking with your Haka account so that the system identifies you as an employee or student of the university and provides parking for the correct price. The parking fee for staff and students is 8 cents/hour + 39 cents starting fee. The initial fee is charged each time you start a new parking session. The parking must be logged as started each time the car is parked. In the evenings and at night, i.e. between 5 p.m. and 8 a.m., there is no charge.

Guest parking will follow the prices for on-street parking in the area. Guest parking costs €1.5 per hour and €12 per day on weekdays. On Saturday and Sunday the maximum daily rate is €8.

How to use the eParking app

I you are using eParking for the first time:

  1. Download the free eParking app from the app store on your smartphone. ( / )
  2. Create a new account and sign in with your Haka account.

If you already have the eParking app on your phone:

  1. If you already have an account, but the employee and student parking areas are not visible, please log out of the app first and log in again with your Haka account.

How to park using eParking:

  • To start parking, either locate your position using the locator button below the search box or enter your location address in the search box.
  • Select the parking area you want. You can check whether the parking area is subject to a charge by clicking Info.
  • Make sure you are starting the transaction with the correct registration plate number. Parking enforcement is based on a scan of the car's registration plate.
  • Specify the duration of parking and click Start parking.
  • You can then both increase the duration of the parking and cancel it.
