Charging points for electric vehicles have been added to parking areas P10, P17, P21 and P30. When you park, please leave parking spaces intended for the charging of electric cars available, if possible.

The car heating poles used with a key will be phased out and their use will be changed in stages so that they can be used with the eParking application.

It has been established that when using the parking application, the connection to the parking service has not always worked properly when used on a phone. This is because the capacity of the university’s Wi-Fi network is not necessarily sufficient outside the buildings.

The phone may "detect" the jyu-staff network, and it will prevent the user to auto-switching to mobile data. When the wireless network is turned off, the phone switches to using mobile data, and the application starts working properly.

Unlimited mobile data is included in the price of the university’s subscriptions, so using the Wi-Fi network in Finland is not necessary, unless you work, for example, in the basement of a building where the mobile data coverage is poor.
