Ä¢¹½Ö±²¥ is introducing the Norppa system for collecting course feedback. This change applies to courses ending on or after January 2, 2025. Courses ending before this date will still use the Webropol course feedback survey.

The course feedback survey will open for students the day after the course ends. You will receive a link via email to access the survey. You can log in to Norppa using your JYU credentials.

From the student’s perspective, the process of giving feedback does not change significantly. Notifications about the opening of the feedback survey will be sent automatically via email, as before. Providing feedback will continue to be completely anonymous.

A new feature in Norppa is that you can see a summary of the numerical feedback given for the course, provided you have given feedback yourself and at least five students have submitted feedback. The summary will not display written responses.

Another change is that teachers can now provide a response feedback to the class after the student survey has closed. Additionally, Norppa allows teachers to request mid-course feedback or enable continuous feedback during the course.

With the introduction of Norppa, the university encourages you to respond to course feedback surveys. Giving course feedback is one of the most effective ways you can help improve teaching. Both positive and constructive feedback is needed and valuable.

If you have any questions about the implementation of Norppa, you can send them to kurssipalaute@jyu.fi.

Thank you for helping us ensure an even better quality of teaching!
