New Professors' Celebration Lectures in Seminarium and Agora
In December, celebration lectures will be given by twelve new professors. New Professors’ Celebration Lectures will be held on Wednesday, 10 December 2025, starting at 12:15 p.m. in the Seminarium (S) and Agora (Ag) at the same day and time.
In the New Professors' Celebration Lectures, professors will present topic of their research to the public and reflect their scientific discipline's significance in the future. Events are held in Finnish.
The celebration lectures in the Seminarium will be given by:
Professor of Psychology Miriam Nokia, KPTK
Professor of Adult Education Kaija Collin, KPTK
Professor Tuire Koponen, KPTK
Professor of Finnish language Sari Sulkunen, HYTK
Professor of art history Tuuli Lähdesmäki, HYTK
Professor of entrepreneurship Mikko Rönkkö, JSBE
Opening words by Vice Rector Marja-Leena Laakso.
The event will be followed by a coffee service in the Tissari Art Collection Hall (1st floor) for registered participants.
