  • Slovak is the so-called lingua franca of Slavic languages. If you know Slovak, you will be able to communicate with the speakers of other Slavic languages.
  • Ä¢¹½Ö±²¥ is the only academic institution in Nordic countries offering academic programme of Slovak language and culture.
  • If you want to learn the Slovak basics, you may come to the course Slovak 1 XSL0005, 5 ECTS. The first meeting is on Monday, 16.9., 12-14, in X223.
  • If you want to learn about Slovak culture and history through moderated discussions and videos, choose the course SLOP150, 4 ECTS. See SISU for more information on place and time.

The language of instruction is Finnish or/and English, depending on participants’ language repertoire.
