JYU’s text message system tested: sending the test SMS to students is postponed to a later date

The functionality of the university’s text message system was tested on Tuesday 26.11.2024. The test revealed technical problems and only some students were able to send messages. Due to the problems, the transmission of the student message will be postponed. We will inform you about the new sending time later.

The text message system is meant for possible crisis situations, for example, if access to a certain area on the campus is temporarily prohibited, or for informing about other important things concerning all students. The text message comes from the address JYUinfo and will be sent to all students at the University to the numbers listed in the OMA service. Please check your contact details
