JSBE to implement GMAT and GRE tests in admission process

The Jyväskylä University School of Business and Economics (JSBE) will incorporate two globally recognised aptitude tests, GMAT and GRE, into the admission criteria for its master’s programmes in 2025.

The Jyväskylä University School of Business and Economics currently offers 5 international master's programmes, which have been amongst the most popular programmes for years. Interest in these programmes has increased annually, leading JSBE to streamline and standardise the admission process. We want to ensure that all applicants have equal opportunities to showcase their skills and be considered for our programmes.

We are constantly developing our student admission processes to serve an ever-increasing number of applicants. The GMAT and GRE are internationally recognised tests that measure academic ability, logical reasoning and problem-solving skills. In the next application round, beginning 8 January 2025, we will be introducing GMAT and GRE tests as part of the admission criteria for our three master's programmes:

If you have not completed a previous higher education degree in the EU/EEA area, you are required to take the GMAT/GRE test.
