Cogni-Teach Transnational Project Meeting at Johannes Kepler University Linz 11.11.-12.11.2014

The session opened with Dr. Kristóf Fenyvesi (Ä¢¹½Ö±²¥), who led discussions on the implementation and evaluation of Cogni-Teach tools. The project aims to develop training courses for both preservice and in-service teachers, supporting their professional growth through innovative cognitive-based methodologies.
Next, Rita Both and Csilla Lázár presented updates on the learning platforms, highlighting how the project will deliver video-based training materials and resources online. The Cogni-TEaCH web portal will provide open-access courses and workshops for educators worldwide.
Csilla also detailed the project timeline and the Training of Trainers (ToT) program. This initiative will prepare over 40 teachers per country to utilize a free cognitive testing platform that supports learning and development. The platform enables teachers to assess students' cognitive abilities and identify key areas for development, facilitating personalized learning strategies.
The Cogni-Teach project, titled "Cognitive Coaching for Needs-Based Pedagogies in Teacher Training," aims to enhance early childhood and primary education by providing:
- A comprehensive online training course for student teachers and trainers
- Adaptable cognitive tests in multiple languages
- A learning management system for delivering innovative teaching methods
- Workshops and widespread dissemination through project partnerships
By developing multilingual open-access courses and a supportive digital platform, the project aspires to improve pedagogical approaches and, ultimately, enhance young learners’ educational outcomes.
