The JSBE Research Seminar is open to everyone interested in academic research in economics and business studies. They are typically organized at 12:00-13:00 or 13:00-14:00. The seminars are held at the Agora-building in Mattilanniemi and/or at the Zoom-environment.

His research interests lie in the areas of Corporate Sustainability Performance and Disclosure analysis, Environmental Innovation, Greenwashing, Corporate Governance, and Financial Accounting. He is a renowned expert in the field of accounting, especially for his achievements in the area of non-financial report disclosures and greenwashing practices. Professor Laskin recently published Investor Relations and Financial Communication (2022) and his research was recognized with awards from the Association for Business Communication, Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication, and the Institute for Public Relations. Professor Laskin has also served as a Fulbright Specialist, Page Legacy Scholar, Albert Schweitzer Fellow, Plank Center Fellow, and the People’s United Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship Innovation Faculty Fellow.

She is senior leader with 20+ years as a successful leader in Retail Banking in Finland and in a Nordic environment.
