Some of our English-taught master's degree programmes use and as part of the admissions process. Please check the admission criteria of the programme(s) you plan to apply for to see whether you must take one of them to be eligible:

If you are applying to one of the above programmes and your test meets the required minimum score and is valid, you are not required to submit separate proof of your English skills. If you are applying for any of our other English-taught master's programmes,  you may need to submit additional proof, e.g., a language test result.

When applying

You must upload your test result (e.g., a screenshot of your official test report) to your application form by 29 January 2025 at 3:00 p.m. (EET). Make sure your name, test date and score are included. Please note that listing the necessary information by yourself does not suffice. If you do not upload proof of your test result to your application form by this deadline, your test result will not be considered even if you sent it to us through the test organiser. Late attachments are not considered.

If you are admitted

If you are admitted, you must send your test score to the Ä¢¹½Ö±²¥ through the test organiser. The result must be verifiable to us on 15 July 2025 at 3:00 p.m. (EEST) at the latest.

Make sure to send your official score report to us before it expires. If your score is close to expiring, please send it to us well before it expires. Kindly also contact admissions@jyu.fi after sending your score, so that we know to verify it in time.

If we cannot verify your test result by the given date, your admission will be cancelled. Your admission will also be cancelled if we identify any discrepancy between your unofficial score report submitted at the time of application and the official score report.
