The correspondence table is needed when there have been changes to the courses. Please look at the correspondence table below to verify that your course selections are correct.

It is possible to complete the Advanced Studies in Language, Globalization and Intercultural Communication according to the curriculum 2020–2024 until the end of July 2025. As of 1 August 2024, it is also possible to complete the advanced studies according to the curriculum 2024–2028. What do you have to do for your study plan in Sisu
If you are finalizing your advanced studies according to the curriculum 2020–2024, change the versions of those courses that you haven’t yet completed to the newest curriculum 2024–. You can change the version on the course’s brochure in Sisu, from the “Course version” drop-down menu. If you are finalizing your advanced studies according to the curriculum 2024–2028, change the version of the whole advanced studies to the newest curriculum 2024–. You can change the version by first clicking the LACSYV code link on your study plan in Sisu and then by selecting the version 2024- from the “Study module version” drop-down menu.
If needed, you can use the Free edit mode to add courses under the Language Studies Track or Intercultural Communication Track sections (curriculum 2020–2024), or under the Optional Studies section (curriculum 2024–2028). The Free edit mode is needed if you want to add such courses under the advanced studies that are not listed there as options as a default.
Communication and Language Studies
Communication and Language Studies in the new curriculum 2024–2028 apply to students starting their studies on 1 August 2024 onwards. If you haven’t completed the XENX009 Integrated Research Communication course (5 cr) from the curriculum 2020–2024, please contact the education coordinator of the LAGIC programme.

- In the Master's Degree Programme in Nanoscience, the communication and language studies will change for curriculum 2024-2028. So, if you are completing your degree according to curriculum 2024-2028, please note that the degree will include new mandatory communication and language courses.
