Taideklubi is a hobby organization for JYU students and staff who enjoy spending time drawing and painting together. It collaborates with the Ģֱ. Since its opening in November 2022, Taideklubi has been meeting every Tuesday evening from six to eight. During meetings we like to draw, paint and chill together on the second floor of the library building Lähde (B248).
At Taideklubi you can enjoy free and high-quality art supplies, funded by JYU. We do not charge membership fees and no experience level is required, only a heart to create art. We are a bilingual group, and both English and Finnish speakers are welcome.
At the exhibition, below each art piece, you will find a short description of the piece by its artist. If you are interested in buying certain art pieces or have further inquiries, you can contact Taideklubi’s email: taideklubi.jyu@gmail.com The managers will connect you with the artist.
