KOHTAUTUS - International talents as a part of work communities in Central Finland - co-creation event registration

We are pleased to invite you to the co-creation event "International Talents as Part of Work Communities in Central Finland," which will take place in February 2025. This workshop is designed to develop new solutions that promote the integration of international talents into the Central Finnish workforce. 

This two-part event offers a valuable opportunity for you to contribute to the advancement of diverse and multi-talented work communities in Central Finland. Our objective is to bring together multidisciplinary stakeholders, including employers, work communities, and international talents, to enhance the integration of international professionals into our local workforce.

Co-creation event:

Part 1 - Kick-off Webinar 10 February 2025 from 13.00 to 15.00 

Program:

  1. Introduction to the theme by representatives from the Centre for Economic Development, Transport and Environment of Central Finland (ELY Centre), the Central Finland Chamber of Commerce, and International House Jyväskylä.
  2. Presentation of workshop assignments for the main event on 21 February.

Location: Online (A participation link will be sent to those who register)

In the kick-off webinar, we will discuss the current state and future prospects of integrating international talents into our region's workforce, featuring presentations from the ELY Centre, the Central Finland Chamber of Commerce, and International House Jyväskylä. Following these introductions, we will share the co-creation assignments for the main workshop on 21 February. After the webinar, participants will have ten days to reflect on and prepare solutions for these assignments. The presentations will be conducted in both Finnish and English, and the webinar will be recorded for registered participants.

Part 2 - Co-creation Main Event 21 February 2025 from 8.30 to 12.30

 Workshop program:

  1. Opening remarks and workshop organization
  2. Group co-creation sessions
  3. Coffee/Tea break
  4. Summary and discussion of results from the workgroups

During the KOHTAUTUS co-creation workshop, we will focus on brainstorming and developing actionable solutions to enhance the integration of international talents into the local workforce. Collaborating with local stakeholders, companies, educational institutions, and international experts, we aim to create practical solutions that benefit work communities in Central Finland. The event will be conducted in both Finnish and English. We welcome you to join us in shaping solutions for the future!
