WHAT IS WST?
- WST is a one hour session of max 5-minute talks, arranged three times a year.
- Everyone is welcome, but the presentation topics should be relevant to JYU.Wisdom (e.g., planetary wellbeing, sustainability, conservation, circular economy, societal impact)
- No post-presentation discussion, just presentations
- No pressure to give top-notch presentations; WST strives for informative talks in an informal atmosphere.
WHY JOIN WST?
- Get an update on your colleagues’ research and other news in an hour.
- Share your latest work: new research, new funding, new book, event you are organizing, ideas in need of collaborators, etc.
- Deepen your professional network
- Learn new things
HOW DOES IT WORK?
- Want to hear the talks but not present? Just come to there, sit down, relax, and listen.
- Want to give a talk? Email to Johanna Yletyinen (johanna.k.yletyinen@jyu.fi) latest on 10. April.
- WST presentations do not have any specific format. You can use PowerPoint or talk without slides. We value your contribution in any format!
