Ideas and startups come to life in the FORTHEM Startup Day event. There are experienced keynote speakers on the theme, and it's a hotspot for inspiring innovators to pitch their ideas and network with like-minded people.
JYU's StartupLab (SoftwareLab since the beginning of 2025) is organizing FORTHEM Startup Day, an event that brings together early-stage entrepreneurs, innovators, universities, and business communities. The next Startup Day takes place on Thursday, 13 March, at 14:00 EET (13:00 CET) in Yritystehdas - Startup Factory, Kympinkatu 3c, 40320 Jyväskylä and Zoom.
The theme of the event is "Internationalizing Entrepreneurship." Welcome to learn more about the startup culture! The event is free and open to all.
What is the Event About?
Do you have a fascinating startup idea and want to share it with the world? Maybe you've got some great concepts bouncing around in your head, but you're not exactly sure what to do next. Or perhaps you're just curious about the startup scene and want to know more about the opportunities. Well, you're in the right place!
FORTHEM StartupDay brings together entrepreneurs, future talents, researchers, and experts on topics related to our digital world. Everyone is welcome to join us and network with our startup community! Each time, we have a theme for our keynotes and to spark discussions.
We're determined to make our event a meaningful experience to turn the “what ifs” into “what’s next.”

THERE ARE LIMITED SPOTS for pitching your idea or startup! If you want to present your business idea and get expert feedback, register for the event no later than Sunday, 9th March. We will contact the selected presenters on Tuesday, 11th March at the latest.
