The 4th Joint Seminar on Music, Sport and Health will be held in the Department of Music, Art and Culture Studies, Ä¢¹½Ö±²¥, on 13 June 2025. The seminar is co-organised with the Faculty of Sport and Health Sciences. This year’s keynote lecture will be given in-person by Professor Jasmin Hutchinson, Springfield College, USA.
The goal of JSMSH is to learn about new research and ongoing projects related to music, sport and health, as well as to develop new opportunities for interdisciplinary cooperation. We welcome submissions on any topic related to music, sport, and health in their broadest sense, but especially those that seek to build bridges between two or more of these topic areas. Presentations may report new data, summarise existing work, or propose novel collaborations.

Audio analysis
Behaviour change
Brain imaging / neuroscience
Computational modelling
Elite performance
Everyday exercise
Individual or collective health
Lifespan development
Motion capture, movement, and biomechanics
Music psychology
New methods
New theory
