Why we process your personal data?
Kokkola University Consortium Chydenius maintains a register of persons who have an employment relationship with the Ä¢¹½Ö±²¥, the University of Oulu or the University of Vaasa and are working at Kokkola University Consortium Chydenius. The register also includes persons using the facilities of Kokkola University Consortium Chydenius by a visitor contract (researchers, visitors, interns) as well as users of work facilities rented to outsiders.
The data are collected and maintained in order to organise support and facility services for persons working at Kokkola University Consortium Chydenius. Kokkola University Consortium Chydenius can also use the personnel register for statistical purposes.
The University Consortium is committed to collect and process personal data in a just and transparent way and in compliance with legislation on the processing of personal data. Processed data items: name, date of birth, job title, employment period, unit within the University Consortium, employer, phone number, delivered keys, office number, parking space number, email address.
The data are entered by HR personnel and staff in charge of keys and access rights at Kokkola University Consortium Chydenius. The data are collected from employment contracts, contracts of visiting researchers or from the persons themselves.
What rights you have and how to exercise them?
You have the following rights:
- Right to access your data.
- Right to have any incorrect information corrected.
- Right to have your data erased (right to be forgotten), in certain situations.
- Right to restrict processing.
- Right to have the responsible unit inform the party to which your data is disclosed of your data being corrected, erased, or the processing being restricted.
