Secure Communications Engineering and Signal Processing (SCSP)
Table of contents
Research group description
Due to two decades of intensive industry and academic cooperation, SCSP team is able to offer solid experience, skills and tools for theoretical research and identify and solve practical problems and constraints of complex and networked systems. The telecommunications branch invents new technologies every day. Communications engineering is integral in creating the future of the communications. We develop methods for managing networks and resources, in particular improving the network security. The importance of information security and network reliability increases as the digitization will be everywhere. We need new and more effective ways to manage the network resources.
The research focuses on the research of signal processing and wireless and wired communications, including but not limit to the following areas: signal processing for communications, brain signal processing, image processing, machine learning for the network resource allocation and the network security. We develop methods, techniques and algorithms for data mining, machine learning and anomaly detection in different environments. The research is applied on real-world problems in various domains.
Biomedical engineering and neuroscientific research across different disciplines need support from signal processing theories and methods.
