Research group description

Predictive Community Ecology Group (PredCom) is a research group jointly run by Nerea Abrego and  Otso Ovaskainen  at the Department of Biological and Environmental Science. As a group, our collective mission is to gain a predictive understanding of species-rich communities through strengthening the link between empirical data and general theory in community ecology. To this end, the group members cover the theoretical – statistical – empirical ecology expertise continuum.
