Project description
The Multilingualism in School Citizen Science (CS) output of the Multilingualism Lab of the FORTHEM Alliance carried out pilots in Jyväskylä, Opole and València in 2020–2021. Encouraged by the success of the pilots, MSCEDU is developing a model for CS projects in education, together with new FORTHEM partners and external partners. We follow the spirit of Extreme CS in co-creation, where planning of the project, topic choices, data collection, analysis and dissemination are carried out together by all participants. In this way, MSCEDU brings together expertise of researchers, outreach partner schools and students in co-creating a methodology for extending Extreme Citizen Science to the humanities and social sciences in schools.
