Project description

Information warfare and influence operations target the human mind to undermine mental resilience by affecting people's decision-making abilities and their perceptions of the surrounding reality and society. Defence against influence operations occurs at the cognitive level. Cognitive security refers to a state in which influence operations can be countered or have no impact.

In the first phase of the project, we will assess the state and trends of international research and education in the field and conducts research to define these phenomena from a Finnish perspective. In the second phase, the project participates in the planning, preparation, and implementation of education and research in the field. Additionally, the goal is to produce learning materials and content for widespread use.
