Project description

The multidisciplinary project is a consortium formed by four universities and research institutions, combining natural and social sciences in active dialogue. Securing biodiversity requires broad change and leadership across all sectors of the economy and society. The scientific and societal goal of the BIODIFUL consortium is to radically transform and reshape business thinking, institutional practices, and consumer behaviour towards leadership that respects biodiversity.

The BIODIFUL -project consists of where biodiversity-respecting leadership is examined from different perspectives. Within these research packages, future scenarios that enhance biodiversity and well-being are created. Leading actions leading to these scenarios are identified, biodiversity-respecting management and leadership practices and consumer behaviour are promoted, institutional drivers and barriers for the necessary change are identified, and methods for assessing biodiversity impacts are developed.
