In cooperation with the key actors in the Vuokatti-Ruka operating environment, the proposed project will result in a World Class, and constantly evolving, international center of expertise in modern olympic and paralympic sports coaching and research. Offering high-quality and comprehensive operations support the paths of athletes, coaches and expert support-staff towards success at the highest international level.
To achieve these goals, novel knowledge and innovations will be developed through better collaboration among stakeholders and by continuing to develop the platform for coaching including coach related technology and data management. As a result of these innovations, the multidisciplinary expertise of the entire Vuokatti-Ruka operating environment as well as the quantity, quality and impact of operations will grow, which will boost the attractiveness of the operating environment for athletes and coaches as well as novel business ideas, customer flows, tourism, and events. Of key importance are the mutual roles of the actors, management practices, and consistent brand-strengthening communication. Both internal and external communication will be developed using clear, unified content while an operational model for what, how, where, and when things are communicated will be agreed upon.
