Biography

I am associate professor in sport pedagogy in the Faculty of sport and health sciences at the Ģ��ֱ��. I study physical activity, comprehensive well-being and learning within school aged children and adolescents. I am involved in Schoolwell research project funded by the Finnish Research Council. Schoolwell studies students' comprehensive well-being in the Finnish school context. Additionally, I lead research project funded by the Finnish Ministry of Education and Culture which studies students' physical activity, health-related fitness, motor skills, physical activity motivation, well-being and learning. My studies include cohort, follow-up and intervention studies.
