
Tiina Onkila
Biography
Tiina Onkila works as an associate professor of Corporate Environmental management in Jyväskylä University School of Business and Economics. Her research interests include sustainable business, circular economy, microlevel CSR, stakeholder approaches and sustainability reporting. She acts as the head of CEM-research group.
She is a member of Nature Panel Finland
She leads a workpackage on biodiversity respectful business in the BIODIDUL-project
Research interests
The aim of her research on sustainable business is to support transformation of different business organizations towards sustainability and to help decision makers in business to take into account the criteria of sustainable development. Her research supports business in the identification of sustainability challenges and in finding solutions on how to change towards more sustainable business action as well as how to interact with different stakeholders about sustainability aims.
