Biography
I'm working as a doctoral researcher in Eco-social Sustainability and Education team in Finnish Institute of Educational Research. My PhD is part of and my supervisors are Hannu Heikkinen and Anna Lehtonen and Heidi Layne.
I’m interested in enables and constrains (practice architectures) of sustainability education especially in third sector non-formal learning, transformative learning and sustainability competences. My pedagogical background is in posthuman education, and I’m interested in eco-social Bildung, pedagogy of planetary well-being and planetary social pedagogy.
I have a long work background in liberal adult education where I have been training non-governmental organisations for example of impact making in society, eco-social Bildung, guidance, communal and NGO skills. My education background is somewhat all over the place, I’ve studied as vocational teacher, master of communal pedagogy, wood artisan, bachelor of sociology and yoga teacher.
