Biography
I work in the Department of Psychology as a full Professor and vice-director. My professorship is on well-being and motivation at work. I have studied the well-being of different occupational groups and related factors of working conditions in longitudinal studies. In particular, I have studied the work and well-being of managers from the perspective of sustainable careers. In recent years, my research has focused on the acceleration of working life and how this is related to work, well-being and careers of health care workers. We have used longitudinal research to investigate the process of organizational change in a large healthcare organisation, and how employees' change experiences are associated with their wellbeing and turnover.
My teaching at Ģֱ is related to work and organisational psychology and personality psychology. As Chair of the Doctoral Program in Psychology, I am responsible for the development of doctoral training in our department. I supervise master and doctoral theses in the field of work life research.
