Research interests

Our research group investigates the principles of brain function related to perception and learning. Recently we have studied also the changes in brain function related to aging and depression. The results of our research can in a long run enable supporting of positive changes and preventing negative changes of the brain function.

A participant is learning Mandarin Chinese tones through listening and repeating exercises with a Chinese tutor. The electrical brain responses of both the participant and the tutor are simultaneously recorded.
