Biography

I am passionalte about developing people and businesses.

My professional profile is three-fold. I work as a Director of Executive MBA education at the Jyväskylä University School of Business and Economics. We also provide business development projects and management education tailored for companies. Second, I approach managerial work also through my academic research. Third, I seek to be active in various forms of external engagement outside academia. I am a member of the board of directors in a number of companies.

Research interests

I seek to understand managerial work better. My previous research focused on accounting and management, exploring financial mindsets and accounting practices that managers use in their work. This knowledge is essential in building successful organizations in todayÂ’s competitive business environment. I currently focus my research in exploring the professional development and learning of experienced managers.
