Biography

Postdoctoral researcher, Department of Language and Communication Studies.

My interests include classroom interaction, the role of technology in interaction, multimodality in (peer) interaction, and digital games in language learning.

Research interests

I draw on multimodal conversation analysis to investigate social interaction in classroom contexts. I focus on peer interaction around and via technology, and my current interests include the intertwinement of technology and embodiment, collaborative practices to solve interactional trouble, as well as engagement and participation in mobile-supported peer interaction.

Forskningsprojekt om hur språkdataspel kan bidra till inlärningen av svenska som andraspråk (SDS)

I projektet SDS undersöks spelandet av digitala språkdataspel som resurs vid inlärning av svenska. Projektet fokuserar på finska ungdomars inlärning av svenska.
