Biography

During my PhD studies, I was honored to receive the Björn Savén Finnish American Scholarship and spent time as a visiting scholar at Columbia University in the City of New York. After graduating in 2017, I was awarded a post-doctoral grant of €195,000 from the OP Group Research Foundation and subsequently conducted research visits at the Bank of Finland Institute for Emerging Economies and the United Nations University World Institute for Development Economics Research (UNU-WIDER).

Research interests

My research has focused on the fundamental determinants of current accounts and capital flows. Additionally, I have explored how the financial sector influences the competitiveness of small open economies. My work has been published in various journals, including the Journal of International Money and Finance (ABS/AJG: 3).
