I defended my doctoral dissertation in November 2023 at the University of Jyväskylä. In 2024, I worked as a lecturer in political science at the Swedish School of Social Science, an independent unit at the University of Helsinki. I am currently working in the project 'Reframing Restitution: Postcolonial Object Movement, Transnational History and Social Repair,' led by Associate Professor Magdalena Zolkos. I am currently in the planning and preparation process of research that deals with the return of Sámi human remains to their rightful custodians, the focus being on the Finnish context in the period 1995-2022.
