Biography
I'm a doctoral researcher in cultural policy. My research interests include for-profit museums and the history of cultural policy. My dissertation is a qualitative case study on the Finnish Music Museum Fame.
I have experience from scholarly publishing because I'm a sub-editor in Ethnologia Fennica and work as an editorial secretary for Historiallinen Aikakauskirja.
I'm MA in history. In my master's thesis I analyzed how the discussion on the Opera House in Helsinki reflected Finnish cultural policy.
Research interests
My dissertation is a case study on the Finnish Music Hall of Fame which was run by a limited company. In my dissertation I analyze the for-profit activities in the Finnish museum field. I look into the practices, challenges, and opportunities of for-profit museums.
