Biography

My duties at Movi involve coordinating and developing multilingual communication and language studies, as well as teaching academic writing to students of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, and the Faculty of Education and Psychology.  My research interests focus on multilingualism in academic writing processes and disciplinary literacies. I am conducting doctoral research on this topic at the Centre for Applied Language Studies.

Research interests

I am conducting a dissertation at the Centre for Applied Language Studies with the aim of producing knowledge about the multilingual practices embedded within academic literacies in the field of History. The broader objective of the study is to make visible the multilingualism inherent in academic knowledge construction, and to develop language-aware university pedagogy.
