Biography

I am a researcher in quantum information theory. I received a B.Sc in Physics at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) in 2020 and a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the same institution in 2024. My doctoral thesis was on quantum state discrimination, supervised by Prof. Joonwoo Bae. Now, I work as a postdoctoral researcher at JYU under the supervision of Prof. Teiko Heinosaari.

Research interests

My research interest is the distinguishability of quantum states, which is a central theme of various quantum information processing such as quantum communication and quantum computation. My research aim is to understand how quantum resources, such as entanglement and incompatibility, can be verified and then manipulated for technological advantages in information processing that can be realized with noisy devices.
