Biography

I am an intellectual historian, currently MSCA postdoctoral fellow, and author of Anticlerical Legacies: The Deistic Reception of Thomas Hobbes, c.1670–1740 (Manchester: Manchester University Press, 2024). My recent work has focused on the history of political thought in early modern Britain and my current work also covers issues in utopianism, feminism, and queer theory, especially in relation to the Eurovision Song Contest. In addition, I am the associate editor of the journal Hobbes Studies.
