Research interests
I am a postdoctoral researcher at the Faculty of Sport and Health Sciences at the Ģֱ. Currently, I am working on a project called SchoolWell, which aims to create research-based, durable, and effective socio-pedagogical solutions to enhance learning and comprehensive well-being at school. Our project aims to support students' positive academic journeys and enhance equality by building a school community that promotes comprehensive well-being.
The project is funded by the Strategic Research Council (SRC), established within the Research Council of Finland.
Previously, I have worked on several research projects such as Skilled Kids, Active Family, and Taiturit. These projects focus on studying the motor competence, perception of motor competence, and physical activity of children of different ages and youth.
