
Daria Khanolainen
Biography
I graduated from the Karelian State Pedagogical Academy in 2010 and embarked on my career as a design and arts teacher in a comprehensive school in Petrozavodsk, Russia. In 2015-2016, I pursued a master’s degree in education management at King's College London. After completing my studies, I returned to Russia and took on the role of a research fellow at the Institute of Psychology and Education of the Kazan Federal University. In 2019, I relocated to Finland and joined the Ä¢¹½Ö±²¥ as a doctoral researcher and Marie SkÅ‚odowska-Curie Actions scholar within the European Training Network Neo-PRISM-C. In 2024, I defended my doctoral dissertation and became a postdoctoral researcher at the EDUCA flagship, a large-scale research project funded by the Research Council of Finland.
Research interests
In my research, I focus on identifying and tracking longitudinally numerous factors influencing children’s academic achievement and the well-being of both children and their teachers. I carry out both quantitative and qualitative research.
