Research interests
Anna Salonen (D.Sc. Econ.) is an Associate Professor of Marketing (Tenure Track) at the Ä¢¹½Ö±²¥, Finland, and the Director of the Master Studies Program in Marketing and the Doctoral Program in Business Studies at Ä¢¹½Ö±²¥ School of Business and Economics. She holds a doctoral degree in International Business from Aalto University and has previously worked at Aalto University, University of Turku, and ETH Zurich. Anna’s research focuses on the business-to-business marketing context. She has published papers addressing servitization and solution business model transformations, value-based selling and pricing, and digital content marketing. Her research incorporates a wide range of methods: qualitative case studies, experiments, fsQCA, systematic literature reviews, and conceptual studies. Anna's research has been published in the Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, Industrial Marketing Management, International Journal of Operations Management, Journal of Personal Selling and Sales Management, and the Journal of Service Management, among others. She was the recipient of the 2024 Industrial Marketing Management Best Paper Award.
