In my dissertation, I study the interaction between technological relations and eating disorders. I analyze how material-technical artifacts, meaning tangible items created for a specific purpose and perceivable by the other sense too, influence the development of eating disorders and recovery from them. I use postphenomenology, a field within the philosophy of technology, as my theoretical and methodological framework.

My research has received funding from the Kone foundation for the period 2023-2026.
