Biography
I work at the Centre of Multilingual Academic Communication. My main teaching responsibilities include research communication courses for doctoral students, university pedagogy courses designed for staff teaching academic content through English (EMI), and an elective course related to translation and culture.
Research interests
My primary research interests lie in the field of critical applied linguistics, translation studies, and culturally responsive pedagogies. Topics I am currently interested in include doctoral students' researcher identity; science communication and societal impact; various aspects of equity in academic contexts (social, linguistic, epistemic, and epistemological); the role of language in workplace communication and interaction at multilingual universities and its relationship with professional identity and sense of belonging; translation and mediation as pedagogical resources from the perspective of intercultural education; the role of language(s) and translation in research and writing for publication.
