Welcome to celebrate the new Academic Year in JYUnity Fest on 5-7 September!
The entire university community is warmly welcome to the JYUnity Fest, where we celebrate the beginning of the new academic year together. This year we have a special reason to celebrate, as our university is celebrating its 160-year history.

The new academic year will be celebrated on 5-7 September with both traditions and new additions. On Wednesday September 6, there will be academic traditions such as the opening ceremony, academic procession and a campus tour. On Thursday September 7, we tune into the festival atmosphere! There will be, for example, live music, pop-up stands and much more.
The entire opening program is intended for both members of our work community and our students. The evening for only new students is on Tuesday, September 5th.
The Ä¢¹½Ö±²¥ is celebrating its 160th anniversary this year. To celebrate the anniversary we are also running a campaign with the relevant message "Championing education for 160 years".
