The dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Mika Lähteenmäki, has decided about the transition period for core and intermediate studies in Spanish language. In accordance with the decision made by Rector Jari Ojala on 6 June 2024, the Ä¢¹½Ö±²¥ will no longer offer core and intermediate studies in Spanish language as of 1 August 2024.

Students who have started their studies before 1 August 2024 will be given an opportunity to complete their studies during the academic year from 1 August 2024 to 31 July 2025. The aim is to find special arrangements for students who are missing individual courses of intermediate studies at the end of the transition period, so that they can complete the missing courses.

Students must prepare a personal study plan for the transition period. The plan defines the courses to be completed and their completion schedule. The plan must be approved by the education coordinator responsible for core and intermediate studies in Spanish language.
