Why was the email migration done?
With the change, all students' email has become part of the Microsoft 365 service offering, which is widely used for study purposes. With this change, the university aims to provide its students with better tools to support their studies. Microsoft cloud email is also on the same system as the university's staff email.
The move also improved security for students, as Microsoft Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is required to log into the cloud email.
